When Vole poked his head out from the tunnel, Robin and Crow were deep into an intense conversation about integrety. ”I know he will return because he promised he would.” Robin said with conviction.
“You are a fool, Robin!  No worm is going to return to certain death just because he promised.” Crow chuckled.  ”Life and living to see another day have their own morals.”
“Worm may plead for his life, but I am sure he will return.”
“Ahem!” …. Vole managed to speak through a mouth full of seeds, although several when spewing out as she spoke.  Vole spit out the rest of the seeds, “Worm sent these with my blessing.  He regrets to inform you that he had another engagement.”
Crow began to laugh, “There are your morals, friend!”
Robin could not help a bit of a laugh, herself.  ”That is enough seeds to fill me up,” she said through here chuckles.
But, all laughter stopped when worm poked his head out of the tunnel entrance.
