Robin, Worm, and Crow Con’t. (Worm overcomes his moral dilemma)

Worm was still brooding over what to do, when suddenly Vole appeared from the tunnel behind him.

“What’s up worm?” greeted Vole in a jovial manner.  ”You haven’t taken to eating seeds, now?”

Worm explained his situation to Vole and to his amazement, Vole volunteered not only share some of her sunflower seeds with Robin, but to deliver them on behalf of worm.  (Not many people know that voles tend toward generosity and helpfulness.  Some speculate it is because of all the alone time in their underground havens that voles are that way.)

So Vole gathered as many seeds as she could fit in her mouth and headed up the passageway.
