Terrorists for Peace

Isn't that who we are as a nation. Our honorable president would have us believe that reigning down terror on Iraq is a necessary sacrifice for lasting world peace. Time will certainly tell, but history reveals pretty clearly that war never creates peace either in the short or long term.

I am beginning to believe that it is the nature of government to create war and terror in the name of peace just to ensure its survival. So I am calling on all citizens of this globe to join an international group called terrorists for peace. Late us actively wage peace until our governments around this precious earth execute our uncompromising will for real peace, where all children are fed and schooled and all adults can have comfortable shelter, food and clothing. Why not? The earth can sustain with good ecology, 5 times the present world population at middle class American standards (Buckminster Fuller).

Join me with your comments and I will anounce soon how to get your membership card and license to commit harmless acts of love to end once and for all the terror fostered by greed, government, and the need to control.

My Sign: Saggitarus with x dominating my moon

"There is quite possibly a feeling of restriction on your emotions today that may be difficult to shake, dear Sagittarius. Take this opportunity to calm yourself down and simply relax. Realize that you will enjoy the good times more when you take a time out, and give your body the physical and mental rest that it needs. Always pushing for bigger and better adventures may be fun, but it also may leave you too tired to really appreciate them to the full extent."

Let Your Music Begin

What I hope to share in writing this blog, are (as yet) unknown blessings already on their way to you. The music that has been hidden in your soul since birth and some speculate , even before your birth here on earth in this "time" in his-story as well as her-story; is ready to be birthed:

"except that a hu-man be born again of water and the spirit... they shall in noways enter into the bliss-life which has, from the beginning of "time", been prepared for them (Read US)."

I guess I am the migrant worker who has been sent here to help you harvest your abundance. How did I ascend to such a high post? [you ask]. It was easy, yet it took many, many years, ..... then, finally, (as well as somewhat suddenly), I merely surrendered to Love. Now I am a King among myself.

Disguised as migrant, I am trying to help you take that same Leap of Love. And here is a beginning step:

Trust me, I want to share this gift with you: http://www.mayyoubeblessedmovie.com/

Blessings,
Shamsujim

Life in the Slow Lane Introduction

I am a Reverend, whatever that means. Guess it means that I have been ordained. In fact, I have an ordination in two spiritual traditions: Christianity and Sufism. I consider that as naught.

What I am proud of is the group of loving friends I have known along this way. Jerry Jeff Walker once wrote in a song that the Truth would come in the time we spent with friends in the energy of love (my expansion of his poetic words). I have found this to be true. The important lessons in life, the things that seem to have some permanence have been gifts of insight and awareness that came when hanging out with loving friends.

My hopes for this blog is, that by the Grace of God, a loving community of friends may grow around the issues and experiences discussed here. So let us begin. If you find us, make a comment, raise a question, tell a story.... join in the Life of Us.

After all is said and done, it's only a Blog, after all. I you hope that you find your experiences here"blogiscious"
